Prevent Wound Infections
The healing slim boot features a soft, antimicrobial lining to protect wounds that are in the end stages of healing. Naturally wicking bamboo and silver fabric improve healing by reducing moisture and bacterial threats.
Breathable nylon shell protects from excessive licking and irritation. The soft anti-skid bottom provides traction on slippery surfaces.
Going outdoors?
*We recommend using a Rugged X-Boot to cover the healing slim boot during inclement weather.
Monitor the wound at least 2 to 3 times per day (more often in warmer climates) for signs of infection: foul odor, swelling, redness, pain, heat, discharge.
Monitor boot for slippage, wet/damp boot or lining, or chafing.
* Tip: Turn the healing slim boot inside out to spot clean or throw it in the washing machine. Be sure to hang-dry and keep a second healing slim boot handy for use during drying.

Unlike standard boots, the Soft Lined Healing Boot is lined with a specialized fabric infused with bamboo and silver.
The Healing Boot is designed for "end-stage" recovery—meaning wounds that no longer require a bulky bandage or cast. It is a slim-fit boot intended to protect the bare skin or a very light dressing from licking, biting, and scratching.
If your pet currently has a thick cast or splint, the Rugged Boot is the better choice to accommodate that extra bulk.
This boot is primarily designed for indoor use and short trips outdoors for bathroom breaks. Because it is made of highly breathable nylon to aid healing, it is not fully waterproof like the Rugged version.
Because the boot provides a snug environment, it is important to monitor the area at least 2–3 times per day. Remove the boot to check for signs of moisture buildup, redness, or discharge. If your pet is in a particularly warm or humid climate, check more frequently to ensure the wound remains dry and cool.
To keep the healing environment hygienic, we recommend regular cleaning.
